1largeboneless, skinless chicken breastabout 8 oz, cooked and diced
2cupsromaine lettucechopped
¼cupcreamy Caesar dressing
¼cupParmesan cheeseshaved or grated
¼cupcroutonslightly crushed
1teaspoonolive oil
to tastesalt and black pepper
Instructions
Step 1: Prepare the Filling In a medium bowl, combine the diced cooked chicken, chopped romaine lettuce, Parmesan cheese, and crushed croutons.
Step 2: Add Dressing Pour the Caesar dressing over the ingredients. Gently toss until everything is evenly coated. Season with salt and pepper if needed.
Step 3: Warm Tortillas Warm the tortillas in a dry skillet over medium heat for about 20 seconds per side to make them pliable for rolling.
Step 4: Assemble the Wrap Lay a warm tortilla on a clean surface. Spoon half of the chicken Caesar mixture into the center of the tortilla.
Step 5: Fold the Wrap Fold the two sides of the tortilla inward over the filling. Then, tightly roll the tortilla from the bottom up. Repeat with the second tortilla.
Step 6: Toast the Wrap Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Place the wraps seam-side down in the pan. Cook for 2-3 minutes per side until golden brown and crispy.
Step 7: Serve Remove the wraps from the skillet, slice in half on a diagonal, and serve immediately.
Notes
Use high-quality Caesar dressing and freshly grated Parmesan for best flavor. Leftover rotisserie chicken works well. Avoid overfilling to prevent tearing. Toasting is optional but enhances texture and seals the wrap.
